A Big Birthday Trip to Australia

We have visited Australia once before, back in 2008 when we did a cruise from Sydney to Auckland. That was a very superficial visit, to say the least! We had parts of three days in Sydney, a one-day stop in Melbourne, and another one-day stop in Hobart.

We knew that there was a lot more to see in Australia, so we have been trying to get back ever since then. So when Chris started planning last year for my milestone birthday, I told her that we should go back to Australia. So she set to work planning a very ambitious itinerary!

We quickly realized that two weeks was not enough to see it all, so we concentrated on the south part of Australia. The weather would be nicer, we hoped, and there was plenty to see. I hope you enjoy the trip as much as we did!
