Thursday, March 15 – the day that wasn’t!

We left LAX at 11PM, and flew west. Other than the fact that it was Thursday back home already, this day really didn’t exist for us. Shortly after it turned Thursday, we crossed the Date Line and it became Friday.

Since we had an 8AM arrival into Sydney, we decided to stay up as late as we could then sleep during the second half of the flight. We actually managed to do OK in this regard, despite the late hour. Eventually the long flight over the Pacific was too much and we had some sleep.
